Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe
Chief Executive Officer
Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe is a strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in regulatory transformation and governance across Africa. As former CEO of the Gambling Authority of Botswana, he spearheaded a major transformation of the gambling sector, introducing online betting and strengthening responsible gambling.
An award-winning international speaker and Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA, CIMA, CGMA), he holds an MSc in Strategic Business Management, is an alumnus of the London Business School Senior Executive Programme, and serves on global and continental bodies including IAGR, GRAF, and the ARSO Gambling Standards Committee.
Dan Thomson
Board Member
Dan Thomson is Chief Commercial Officer at pawaTech and former COO of betPawa. With over 20 years of executive experience in betting, gaming, regulated products, and leisure. He spent nearly a decade at Paddy Power, one of Europe’s largest betting operators, as Managing Director of both retail and online. A graduate of Oxford University, Dan specialises in leading businesses through complex regulatory and taxation environments across multiple jurisdictions.
Gregory Parsons
Board Member
Gregory Parsons is a veteran sports betting and technology executive with over 30 years of industry experience. In 2011, Gregory joined Sportradar, where he led their technological innovation and business development in the gaming sector across Africa until the company’s NASDAQ listing (SRAD) in 2021. Now, as VP of Business Development at SportyBet, he oversees the brand's commercial and strategic partnerships globally.
Christopher Coyne
Board Member
Chief Executive Office and Co-Founder of 888AFRICA, a joint venture partnership with Evoke plc. 17 years of Executive-level experience in iGaming, working as Head of Online at Paddy Power plc, then Chief Marketing Officer at Crown Resorts in Australia, before moving to The Stars Group who owned PokerStars and Sky Bet as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer. In the last 7 years he has been focused on Africa, he was Chief Executive Officer at Premier Bet Online then moved to start 888AFRICA. 888AFRICA launched in 2022. Christopher has an MBA from Oxford University.
Anthony Prissman
Board Member
Anthony sits on the boards of all Betway Africa markets and has been instrumental in the group expansion into Africa over the last 10 years. He is Head of Business Development and New Markets expanding the footprint and depth and breadth of the business across Africa. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University of Cape Town with I-gaming experience spanning 18 years in the SGHC Group (NYSE Listed).
