Introducing Africa Safer Gambling Week 2026

From 7-11 September 2026, the African iGaming Alliance (AiA), alongside gambling regulators, industry associations and stakeholders across the continent, will host the inaugural Africa Safer Gambling Week.
Under the campaign banner #PlaySafeAfrica, the week will bring stakeholders together around a shared commitment to promoting safer gambling, strengthening player protection and increasing public awareness across African markets.
Through a coordinated programme of industry and regulatory engagement, public education and digital awareness, Africa Safer Gambling Week will put player protection firmly at the centre of the conversation.
