From press conferences and community outreach to player education, public awareness and our continental webinar, Africa Safer Gambling Week brought regulators, industry stakeholders, organisations and communities together around a shared goal: strengthening player protection and promoting safer, more sustainable gambling environments across Africa.

And the conversation reached far beyond the events and activities taking place on the ground.

Our first Africa Safer Gambling Week generated millions of impressions, thousands of engagements and coverage across media platforms and outlets - helping bring the #PlaySafeAfrica message to audiences across Africa and beyond.
